Touch screens are being fitted together with multiple still and video cameras. Studio quality lights are positioned to make sure the pictures are perfect. Lasers, UV lights and a wind machine are being set up. Someone is testing a selfie drone in another corner of the room.
Just before the start of the event, Tara’s dad changes into his blingy Bollywood party suit.
Your guests are arriving and are eating and drinking all the sumptuous fare you have laid on. Tara’s dad is wandering around joking with people and telling them about some of Tara’s adventures. A few start drifting off to have a closer look at Tara’s photo booth.
In no time, you start to see increasingly crazy pictures projected onto a huge screen on a side wall. Guests are really getting into the fancy dress, the signage, the digital effects and the other props that Tara has to offer. Every now and then, you notice Tara’s dad is wandering around taking embarrassing pictures of people too shy to enjoy the photo booth and they are also ending up on the big screen.
In another corner, people are using the selfie drone under supervision to take some unusual pictures. The dance floor is heaving and Tara joins in. Sher starts her smoke machine, UV lights and lasers. You notice more people heading towards her to take even crazier pictures. Some are starting to be shared on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You are starting to smile knowing that they will regret that!
You and they will have memories that they will never forget. Even if they want to!
Parked in reception is Tara, an authentic Indian Tuk Tuk, or three-wheeler, from Mumbai. She’s been decorated in your event colours and is fitting in perfectly with your theme.
She’s getting a lot of attention as your guests arrive and mingle while your caterers are serving drinks.
Some are taking pictures of themselves standing in and around Tara. A few are sitting on her drivers seat (normally occupied by her dad) and pretending to drive her. Some are trying to break the world record on how many people can get into a Tuk Tuk.
At the end of the evening, you see people weaving around her as they leave. A few more crazy pictures are taken.
It’s the perfect start and end to your fabulous Bollywood event.
Now you are relying on your family and friends to keep it going till the early hours and long after you have gone to bed with your lovely partner. All the time you are hoping that your party will be more than ‘another wedding reception’. You are wanting your guests remembering how much fun they had. You are hoping that kids of all ages are feeling entertained throughout the evening.
You smile as you look at your lovely, bright, wedding car parked up in the corner decorated with all kinds of lights and technology.
Tara’s friendly, some say slightly mad, dad and chief party-starter has sprinkled a little unicorn dust on her and, after a few magical minutes of soft tinkling noises, she changed into ….. an amazing photo booth!
You grab a few of your besties and head over and, grabbing some appropriate fancy dress and inappropriate signs, you find yourself using the touch screen to take lots of silly photos. Your friends are posting them online so even more of your friends can see the happiness on your face and what a fabulous wedding reception party you have laid on
Throughout the evening, you can’t help noticing a steady stream of people heading over, sitting in Tara and laughing their socks off doing something funny. Some are leaving you video messages which get sillier the later it gets. Tara’s dad will be making sure of that!
But at some time in the late evening, well before the unicorn dust wears off, Tara will go home.
Leaving you with a thousand everlasting wedding memories.
You imagine walking down the short piece of red carpet that has been thrown at your feet, carefully climbing in and making yourself comfortable in the nest of soft perfumed cushions, slik, soft fabrics and an endless amount of bling. Bells softly tinkle every time you move.
When you are ready and the pictures have been taken, you’ll be covered in the softest of soft Indian silk throws, buckled safely up and your fairytale begins.
Tara’s Bajaj 198 cc engine (made in India) bursts into life and you suddenly notice all your stress disappearing. You’re smiling widely before you even leave your driveway.
Friends and strangers have lots of picture opportunities as you slowly drive to the wedding venue. Strangers cheer and cars toot their horns to celebrate with you. To add to your record of the magical day, your beautiful, happiest of smiles are captured by Tara’s cameras and 360 Degree video.
On arrival, your driver jumps out and gently helps you out. Imagine the incredible, happy, relaxed feeling as you leave Tara to move on to the happiest part of your happiest day …..
After the most joyous of ceremonies, you’re married! CONGRATULATIONS!
Taking pictures. Making memories. Eventually it’s time for you to join your guests at the reception. Tara is waiting for you and your new partner. You’re both climbing aboard the most unique and fun wedding car in the world and it sets off. Every pedestrian we slowly pass is cheering and waving at you. Each car that passes us is hooting its horn in celebration.
As you near your romantic wedding venue, the music is getting louder and coloured smoke is pouring out behind Tara.
Marking your arrival in style.
Your guests are entertaining themselves while you are away but you know that they may be getting impatient to move on. But you don’t want to stop those magical moments.
As you are leaving you notice Tara’s dad scooting around encouraging guests to hop on and take a ride. You know they won’t be stopping until every last person has had a huge belly laugh. One less stress for you to worry about.
Everyone from the age of 2 to 102 finds themselves acting like kids again when they are out driving with Tara. Mums, grandmums and young kids take a gentle ride around the venue and surroundings. The driver tells them the absolutely worst dad jokes to keep them entertained.
The more excitable are taken on a madcap ride full of screams and laughter. Booze in hand, many will be trolling you about the crazy time they had and how much fun it was.
In no time the laughter becomes contagious and, as Tara can only take a maximum of three people at a time, the demand to go on this unique ride will never be over. You glance over between some photo shoots and see a queue of people laughing, joking and waiting to have a ride.
Kids are loving it and it’s keeping them entertained.
You are care free. Enjoying the first few hours of an everlasting marriage with your friends and family.
